Roomba Replacement Battery

Roomba replacement batteries have been the bane of my life recently. They seem to run out so quickly.

I have a bit of a love/hate thing with my Roomba robot. I love that it does the vacuuming for me, but I hate it when it gets tired and refuses to move. Luckily, it's much easier to coax back into cleaning than a husband is. All it needs is a replacement battery.

Finding a replacement battery for my Roomba vacuum cleaner has been a bit of a pain. I have a 400 series, at it wasn't an easy task. Eventually I found a bunch of them for sale on eBay. They turned out to be cheaper on there.

Having bought a new one, I was determined to make the replacement battery last as long as I possibly could. A quick look on the web and I found a site with some tips on how to make the Roomba battery last longer. Some of them are a little obvious such as, "Make sure you are charging your Roomba correctly." Well, duh. But a lot of them were very useful. One tip I found useful was to take the battery out if you're not going to be using the Roomba for a long time. I work away a lot and it can go a few weeks at a time between uses on some occasions.

So, from now on, I'll be taking it out before I go on trips and hopefully be saving myself some money on Roomba replacement batteries.
